Salmonid Restoration Federation

2018 Steelhead Summit Registration

SRF will host the 3rd Steelhead Summit on December 3 - 5, 2018 in Ventura, California at The Clocktower Inn.

The agenda will highlight conservation strategies for steelhead recovery, including origins of steelhead life history variation; risk mitigation strategies; monitoring and limiting factors; adapting to climate change, drought, floods, and wildfire; post-fire watershed health and planning; balancing habitat and public safety; instream flow needs, permitting, and enhancement; and building support for flow enhancement and groundwater recharge.

The full-day symposium will be followed by concurrent field tours that focus on Santa Monica Bay monitoring and restoration projects; Thomas Fire and flood impacts on Steelhead in Santa Barbara; and water conservation and flow enhancement projects in Ojai Valley. On the third day, you have the choice between an attorney-led workshop concerning flow enhancement and water rights or a tour of fish passage and restoration projects in the Lower Santa Ynez River basin and Gaviota coast.

Registration is $200. Your registration fees will cover lunches, first day symposium, a second day field tour, and the third day workshop or tour. You can register online or by completing and returning this registration form.
