The 2020 Annual Salmonid Restoration conference will be March 31-April 3, 2020 in Santa Cruz, CA. The workshops and field tours will meet at the Hotel Paradox at 611 Ocean Street, Santa Cruz, CA 95060. This hotel is also our largest group block.

What are the start and end times for Conference Events?

Tuesday and Wednesday workshops and field tours are 9am to 5pm on March 31 - April 1. Field tours promptly depart at 9am, so please come to the facility early to pick up your registration packet and pack a lunch for the day. Vans are provided for field tours.

The concurrent sessions are on Thursday and Friday, April 2 and 3, begin at 9am and end at 5pm.

How can I present at the SRF Conference?

SRF has an Open Call for Abstracts. Click here to view the First Call for Abstracts.

Information and registration details for the 2020 Poster Session are posted below in the FAQs.

How do I nominate someone for an award?

Please submit 200 words or more to nominate candidates for the illustrious Restorationist of the Year Award, the Golden Pipe Award for Innovation, the Lifetime Achievement Award, and the new Gordon Becker Memorial River Advocate Award.

The restoration community mourns the loss of our colleague and friend, Gordon Becker, who is memorialized in this beautiful tribute. The Gordon Becker Memorial River Advocate Award is for candidates who have been strong river advocates or stewards.

All of these awards will be presented at the 2020 Salmonid Restoration Conference.

Nominations should be sent to srf@calsalmon.org by February 8, 2020. Please write "Award Nominations" in the subject line.

When and how can I present during the 2020 Conference Poster Session?
The Poster Session is 7-10 pm on Thursday, April 2 at the Cocoanut Grove. This annual event is open to all conference attendees and a great venue to network with your peers. There is no cost to attend or present a poster. We encourage posters, pamphlet distribution, software exhibits, and multimedia (video) presentations.
